Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Liquid Insecticide

Extensive usage of commercially available synthetic pesticides against phytophagous insects has resulted in their bio-accumulation the environment, leading to a rise resistance and decrease soil biodiversity over time. In addition, 90% sprayed penetrate different natural resources via runoff, exposing farmers consumers agricultural products serious health risks. As result, increasing emphasis been placed on creation environmentally benign pesticides/insecticides that would enable an effective pest management system minimise chronic exposures contribute illnesses. The utilization herbal active compounds with insecticidal activities is one such technique. Hence aim this study was develop insecticide formulations from extracts leaves Azadirachta Indica, Datura Stramonium, Cascabela Thevetia seeds Annona Squamosa. Insecticidal efficacy developed tested in-vitro ballworm larvae. unveiled its significance developing as alternative harmful chemical insecticides step forward towards development promising eco-friendly technology crop protection.
